Darin's 2010 Christmas Gift Give A Way

I'm A Really Bah Hum Bug About Christmas...

I don't want to be a downer,  or ruin your holiday spirit.  In order for you to understand my new Christmas tradition I need to give you a little background info.

Christmas has long been one of my least favorite holidays.  In fact my girlfriend think's I may be scrooge.

Coming from a divorced family with parents that fought about where we would spend each Christmas and Christmas Eve.  In addition to now being divorced myself and having to try and accommodate parents, an ex wife, grandparents, and other family members...it's really a No Win situation.

Having a young daughter now it helps, but it's still not one of my favorite days of the year.

In addition to these "Family" issues, many of us end up getting a bunch of gifts that we don't really need. Sweaters, Cheap Clocks, Lousy Gadgets That Don't Work, Bad Ties, Most Items That Will Never Actually Be Used...

Will You Join Me In Celebrating Christmas Differently?

This year I am asking my parent to forego gifts for a cash donation to the Olivia Davis Foundation. Many of us, even during tough times, have so much more than others in need of a miracle.

Think about all the families that are stuck on Christmas day in the Children's Hospitals across the country, many just hoping their child survives until New Years Day.

Can you help?

#1 - If you'd like to help us put a smile on the face of children this Christmas please click here to contribute. I'm not asking you to forego all your gifts this year, but if you can afford a contribution...I'll make certain it's put to great use by delivering gifts on Christmas Day.  All contributions are tax deductable.

#2 - If you live near a Children's Hospital and would be interested in taking gifts to the hospital near you on Christmas Day...please email me at darin [@] darinspindler.com.

As soon as the fundraising campaign is over we'll determine how many gifts we can buy.  We'll then ask you to help us purchase, wrap and deliver the gifts near your children's hospital.

The Olivia Davis Foundation will pay for the gifts. We just need you to pick them up at stores near you, have them wrapped and finally deliver them.

Thanks in advance for your generosity and help.

Happy Holidays,

Darin Spindler

Finished...Over $20,000.00 Raised Thanks To Glazer Kennedy's Insider Circle Super Conference Attendees!

The Olivia Davis Foundation has been chosen as the charity of choice for the 2010 Glazer Kennedy Marketing & Money Making Super Conference in Dallas, Texas April 29 - May 2, 2010.  The GKIC Super Conference is a gathering of the top entrepreneurs in the world.

Darin Spindler, the founder of The Olivia Davis Foundation is a Glazer Kennedy member and will be attending the event along with Andy O' Mara.  Attendees of the event will be able to make a contribution to our foundation and in return will receive a great gift from Glazer Kennedy.

We'd like to thank all attendees in advance for their generous contributions and we'd also like to give a special thanks to Bill & Karen Glazer and Dan & Carla Kennedy for choosing The Olivia Davis Foundation as the charity for this event.

The Olivia Davis Foundation will be making a special donation that day to the family of GKIC Member Eric Paul who lost his battle with cancer on December 30, 2010.   Eric leaves behind four great children and we're happy to be able to provide a little bit of help for future medical and education expenses.

We've created a very special video that will be presented at the Super Conference but we can't publish it until after the event.

If you are unable to attend this event but would like to help out please click on the link below.  We'll be sure to post picture after the event.
